Fastlamps excels by trust and transparency with its customers. In order to lead each person to a conscious purchase, ensuring your satisfaction, we give you a brief explanation of the various types of lamps currently available in the market:

Lamps

Original Manufacturers Lamp (OEM)

The lamp supplied by the original projector manufacturer, identical to the one installed in the original projector. It gives the best performance in terms of brightness, life, etc. but tends to be the most expensive offering and often has the shortest warranty (typically 3 months).

Diamond Lamps (Genuine Inside)

A Diamond Lamp combines the identical bulb installed in the Original Manufacturer’s (OEM) lamp with a new cage. The exacting standards put into component selection and manufacture means a Diamond Lamp will deliver identical performance to the OEM lamp but at a noticeably lower price, supported by an extended 6-month warranty.

Philips Lamps (Genuine Inside)

Philips not only supply bulbs to OEM lamps and Diamond Lamps, but also manufacture a selection of their own lamps using the same Philips bulb. Similar to Diamond Lamps in design they tend to be more expensive and are supported by a 6-month conditional warranty.

Smart Lamps (Premium Compatible)

A Smart Lamp is a Premier Compatible Lamp – the only one available on the market. We manufacturer Smart Lamps using proven, high quality parts – many of which are used by the original equipment manufacturer – that are constructed and tested to exacting standards. Unlike copy lamps that cut costs by using the cheapest components, a Smart Lamp delivers high quality and reliability to offer a great value alternative to the projector manufacturer’s own replacement lamp. With an unprecedented 12-month warranty, Smart Lamp performance will protect your reputation.

Information

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1. The product warranty will depend on the respective manufacturer.

2. The product warranty starts from the date of invoice of the product purchased. If an exchange is made, the warranty period applicable to this new product is the same of the replaced one. Under no circumstances will the warranty begin to count again.

3. The guarantee covers only products; no labor, packaging, manuals or other elements are included.

4. The warranty will be automatically canceled in cases where any manipulation is detected in the products returned, either by attempting to repair or misuse them. The warranty will be valid only if the product has not been individually handled and returned in its box with all its original parts.

5. Defective products, which are under warranty period, must be sent to FastLamps, with postage paid by the customer, and the goods with postage paid by Fastlamps will be returned.

Returns

RETURNS POLICY

FastLamps provides an unprecedented 90 day warranty on all lamps for any brand for faults due to defective materials or workmanship. The warranty commences from the day of dispatch from FastLamps and is extended if the manufacturer’s warrant is longer than 90 days.

Requesting a Return Merchandise Authorization (R.M.A.)

Once an RMA number is given it remains valid for 10 business days (two weeks). If the lamps are not received in that time, the RMA will be closed and a new one initiated.

Broken Lamp in transit

Breakages must be reported within three working days of receipt to enable us to claim with our carriers. Unfortunately, any claim outside of this period cannot be supported.

Ordered in error / No longer required

If you have ordered the wrong item by mistake or your customer no longer requires the lamp, in most cases we will take the lamp back subject to a restocking fee. As long as the lamps come back in perfect condition, this fee is 10%, unless we advised you at the time of purchase that it was a special purchase item and could not be returned.

Defective Product / Warranty claim

If an item does not work or stops working by what appears to be a product defect, please use the returns system to get the lamp back to us. We will then determine the fault with the relevant manufacturer and credit the lamp in full if applicable. If a replacement is required ahead of the unit being assessed, please place a new order.

Important Notice: Many manufacturers refuse to recognize a warranty claim without the serial number of the projector, therefore failure to provide it within the warranty period may invalidate our ability to support the claim.

Incorrect product supplied

We work hard to ensure the right product is shipped to you but in the event that an incorrect item is shipped we will credit the lamp in full once returned. Please consult with our sales team before ordering a replacement to ensure that we do not repeat the error. Please note that in all circumstances a Return Merchandise Authorization (R.M.A.) number must be obtained before shipping the product back to us. Products must be returned in their original packaging, which must not be defaced in any way, consequently, we recommend that they should be shipped inside extra packaging. Unfortunately, because it will limit our ability to resell the lamp module, if these conditions are not adhered to, we reserve the right to levy an increased restocking charge or reject the goods.
